What To Expect From Children’s Dentistry

We concentrate wholly on the comfort of your child during first visits, giving your little one ample time to adjust to the setting of the dental office. Once your child feels at ease, we strive to protect his or her teeth from the negative effects of dental plaque, such as tooth decay, with gentle services, including gentle dental cleanings, as well as the following comfortable treatments:

  • DENTAL SEALANTS

Dr. Roberson will carefully paint a thin layer of plastic over your child’s back teeth. Sealants protect teeth from plaque adhesion, discouraging cavities on hard-to-reach teeth.

  • FLUORIDE TREATMENTS

Fluoride, a naturally occurring mineral, strengthens bone tissue and assists in protecting teeth against cavity formation.

The Advantages of Children’s Dentistry

Your child’s teeth are new and developing. By protecting teeth as they grow, you help your child enjoy a lifetime of optimal oral health. The sooner you teach your son or daughter excellent habits, the more likely your child is to continue practicing wonderful dental hygiene.
In addition, by visiting us for preventive care, we can guide your child toward clean, healthy teeth and away from the need for restorative services like fillings.
